Moroccan Oil Conditioner Real OR Fake?

I have been watching YouTube Videos for YEARS, reading reviews, buying the products. We all do, no? I was afraid to shop online or buy the Moroccan Oil Hair Product online BECAUSE i was afraid I would come across this problem.

Today I am not doing some sort of review. I am irritated, annoyed and frankly I feel pretty gullible for believing in this to BEGIN with.

So I went to First Markham Place last weekend, and saw that the Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner was 2 for $57.99.  I thought it was too good to be true, so I passed on that thinking, asian mall, selling these for half price CANNOT be real. Retail cost for Moroccan Oil is about $60 for the 500mL.

So then the next day I went to Dixie Outlet Mall to do some browsing and happen to walk past this SALON at a MALL. I found my beloved Shampoo and Conditioner ON SALE.
NOT EVEN THINKING, I purchased it for $32.99 only because they had the volumizing conditioner when i normally use repair.

After the first use, I noticed the smell was strange and unfamiliar! I thought, OK since the last bottle I purchased was over a year ago (because I use different shampoos in the summer vs winter) I may just not be use to the new fragrance. After the second use I decided to look at the bottle because the scent was just too strong to be produced by Moroccan Oil.

LOW AND BEHOLD.
Here are the images of my bottle versus my old bottle:

OH Was I ever sad to see that the bottle was produced in ISRAEL.
The old Moroccan Oil Conditioner I have has a different pump because I accidentally broke the old pump a while ago but the new bottle does look similar to the DUPE.

The Bottle to the LEFT is the "NEW" Moroccan Oil Conditioner and there is NO DOUBT that is the one that is the fake because it smells like, someone took a bottle of cheap duped perfume and POURED it in there. I cant even fathom what is really inside. I am sure I could have really damaged my hair if it turns out the conditioner is actually some handcream mixed with perfume.

Moral of the story is Read your labels, don't be afraid to ask questions because even Salons in a Mall could be selling you FAKE SH*T. At the end of the day I can't help but know it was my fault for not reading the label,  and assuming a salon wouldn't sell dupes.

I gotta go shop now, for the real Moroccan Oil.
